Back to Work.

So, after being off of work for five days I kinda forgot how hard it is to wake up at 5am...... Well, I remember. I also forgot how cold your car can be and how long it takes to warm up. However, it was great to get to work and see the snow fall. It was absolutely beautiful. I really wanted to fix some of Mom's hot chocolate and watch it fall.
What I am currently doing is dispatching and knitting. What do the two have in common you ask? Well, dispatching takes precedence and I need something to do in the down times. Knitting is something I don't have to think about, so I can pick it up at anytime and not have to worry about where I left off. My last rotation at work I made my sister a scarf (Jena). I finished that scarf and loved it. I am now making one for Jessica. The colors are hot pink, yellow, blue and neon green all the colors that fit Jessica

Monday's on Saturday.

0736Today is November 11th and it is a Saturday in Branson, MO. However, for my fellow red shifters and I it is Monday. I work on schedule of three days on, three days off. So every three days Monday shows her ugly head and then comes Wednesday and the ever wonderful Friday. So it is a Monday in every sense of the word except that it is in fact Saturday.
1508 As the day has worn on......it is still Monday. I have called every paramedic and emt employed for the ambulance twice!!!! To see if someone can work and have worked more seizure patients then I care to talk about. I have been cussed and cried to. I am ready to go to bed and the only problem is that it is only 1508 and I still have three hours left of my shift!!! No one else can call in because I refuse to bother anyone else to get them covered. I am being screened by my own co-workers. Plus, I refuse to do any more seizure calls I have the protocol memorized and I think I will shoot someone just to get a different call.
1637 Teresa and I have been trying to watch Pirates of the Caribbean: At World's End for 4 hrs. I am still looking for people to work and so far (fingers crossed no Seizure pts) Monday has to end eventually. 23 calls and counting.
